I continue to make collage from painted paper on a painted surface. This year, my work is grounded in the bible stories of my childhood. My latest pieces are quite large - two triptychs that are over five feet long. They are part of my Rachel cycle. I made 5 collages based on Jacob's dream. I made one about Sarah's death. All of these pieces incorporate the Hebrew text, either explicitly or secretly. I call this kind of work "visual midrash".
